Larry served New Beginnings in just about every conceivable capacity: clerk, maintenance, Sunday school teacher, deacon, and friend. He will be sorely missed.
On February 15, 2018, the Board of Directors voted to ask the Parkers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Greenville, NC, to take in Southeastern Free Will Baptist College as a ministry located on their property and operating under the care of their local church. On Sunday night, March 11, 2018, Pastor Gene Williams presented the request to the Parkers Chapel Church for their consideration.
“Find at least one missionary among those listed here and pledge to support them monthly,” implored General Director Clint Morgan. “Each of these missionaries will have opportunities to share the gospel with people we’ll never meet this side of eternity…if they have the funds to serve. They responded to the Lord of the Harvest and agreed to go. Let’s ask Him how we should help them.”
