“During August, the month set aside by the denomination to emphasize international missions work, the Historical Commission encourages Free Will Baptists to visit FWBHistory.com. On the site, visitors will find fascinating missionary biographies and historical accounts of Free Will Baptist missions work dating to the mid-1800s.
Most recently, the commission has posted the full run of The Missionary Helper (1878-1919), the “voice” of the Free Baptist Women’s Missionary Society organized in 1873. The periodical includes updates on both foreign and home missionary efforts, the denomination’s work with former slaves, and profiles of Free Will Baptist missionaries.”
