What Texans have known for years is no longer a secret: Texas is the land of opportunity! People from all over our country and all over the world are coming to Texas. Jesus said, “Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” John 4:35b
In obedience to His directive, the Texas Mission Board is asking for you to join us tomorrow, August 4 in a special day of prayer.
We are asking simply for you to pray for these 2 specific areas:
- Our 3 Current Mission Works to Prosper and Thrive
Our current mission works are:
– Authentic Church in Victoria (Kyle and Beth Howell)
– Connect Church in Woodforest (Heath and Jamie Ferguson)
– Quest Church in Waco (Jim and Tracey Kilgore)
- Our need for New Missionaries and Mission Fields
As our current missionaries and mission works approach self-supporting status, we seek God’s choice for new missionaries, and where the Lord would have them go into the state’s mission field. We need God’s hand to move in this work of planting new churches for His glory and for our collective efforts in the Great Commission!
