Randall University in Moore, Oklahoma hosted the As You Go Missions Conference March 9-12, 2016, and Texas Free Will Baptists were there! The conference was student led, and the team was led by Hannah Morrison from Collin Creek Church in Plano, Texas. Texas Free Will Baptists were invited to set up a display with information about the work in Texas. We also had the opportunity to visit classes as guest speakers. Michael Morrison (Collin Creek Church, Plano), Randy Puckett (Eagle Heights Church, Sugar Land), and John Collier (New Beginnings, Bryan) spent time with administration, faculty, staff, and (most importantly) students during the conference. Other ministries represented included: IM, Inc., Free Will Baptist North American Ministries, Voice of the Martyrs, ELIC, Grace Home, Here to There Movement, and Puerto Rico Free Will Baptists.

Michael Morrison summed it up well: “…as a pastor and church leader, I’m filled with hope. Seeing this generation not simply receive the baton, but reach for it with eagerness to carry forward the work of the Great Commission is deeply encouraging. As students flooded the altar this week and responded to God’s call, I was reminded again that the gospel will continue to flourish. Lives will be transformed. Disciples will be made. God moved this week at Randall University. And I believe this is just the beginning of what He is doing in this generation.”

In addition to attending the conference and speaking in classes, Texas Free Will Baptists had the opportunity to sponsor an ice cream social on Wednesday evening featuring Blue Bell ice cream. It was a joy to see the Randall University family, along with guests for the conference enjoying a little bit of Texas hospitality. Thank you Texas Free Will Baptists for making our participation in the As You Go Missions Conference possible!
