On October 26, 2025, Collin Creek Church in Plano, Texas celebrated Reverend Mike Morrison’s thirty-fifth year in ministry. With a prolific ministry that has spanned churches and ministries throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas, Pastor Mike has served as Lead Pastor of Collin Creek Church since 2019. During the celebration, members noted that he has been faithful to the Lord in preaching authentic biblical truths and offering “meat” for their spirits. Pastor Mike stated, “Every moment rests on His faithfulness. And until my last breath, this will be the story I tell: Through it all… God has been faithful.” Pastor Mike and his wife, Dorinda, are known for having giving hearts and ensuring that people are cared for, prayed over, and taught Scripturally, having led hundreds to faith and maturity in Christ.
Collin Creek Church was thrilled to welcome John Collier, the Texas Free Will Baptist State Office Coordinator and Pastor of New Beginnings Church in Bryan, Texas, to deliver the message during worship. The two had briefly crossed paths while attending Free Will Baptist Bible College (now Welch College), but in the last couple of years they have developed a friendship rooted in the brotherhood of ministry. Pastor John delivered a powerful message on the need for unity in Christ using the lens of 1 Peter 2.

The time of celebration included video messages from many friends and family whom Pastor Mike has impacted over the past thirty-five years. Worship centered on the Lord’s faithfulness. During the catered reception which followed the worship service, several members of Collin Creek Church offered heartfelt words of appreciation and thanks.
The multicultural congregation expresses its deep gratitude for Pastor Mike’s impact. They thank God for providing him and his family, and pray for nothing less than another three decades in the ministry devoted to pointing people to the Kingdom of Christ.
